Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 4, the 23-year-old accused of assaulting a 21-year-old Swedish woman in the early hours of Saturday, together with a 19-year-old friend, is expected to apologize to the Chania investigator.
He reportedly denies the charge, however the young woman from Sweden alleged that she was not only sexually assaulted, but that one of the perpetrators beat her when she tried to resist and also photographed her while she was half-naked.
What is coming to light about the case of indiscretion against the 21-year-old woman by two young Chanians in the early hours of Saturday in Gerani, Platanias municipality, is causing a sensation, while the deadline for the self-immolation for the 19-year-old who has been identified as the accomplice of the 23-year-old expired in the early hours.
The girl, who has been living in Chania for the last few months and works in a Swedish company, reported to the police that the perpetrators, with whom she was having fun in a club in the city, took advantage of the fact that she was under the influence of alcohol. In fact, she claims that they were not limited to carelessness, but one of the two hit her when she tried to push him away by hitting him in the face with her mobile phone.
“We left the club together in the early hours of Saturday morning. I was going back to my room and they both wanted to accompany me. They took me to a deserted spot before Gerani beach”, he complained.

The 23-year-old who was arrested was prosecuted for abuse in negligence against complicity against a person incapable of reacting due to intoxication, for bodily harm as well as for violation of personal data.
