The elderly mother of the 44-year-old Toumba convenience store employee who was murdered in cold blood by a robber is demanding justice.

The closed circuit video that captures the murder frame by frame is shocking. The 44-year-old employee tries to wrest the gun from the robber’s hands. He points it at the clerk and shoots him. It was the early hours of November 6, 2021. The 27-year-old, wearing a hood, at gunpoint, grabs whatever he can find from the cash register. He still asks for more and the killing spree ensues.

The accused is a 27-year-old Albanian and his 36-year-old Greek accomplice. There was tension in the room when the victim’s mother turned on the accused, calling them murderers.

The trial began and was adjourned until next Tuesday.
