New Democracy MP Yannis Kallianos spoke about the death of his father and the responsibilities, as he claims, of the doctors at the Attikon hospital.
The MP of New Democracy said, among other things, to ANT1 that “The doctor told me that the tests are excellent and everything is going very well. I believe in God and I will swear to this in court, remembering my father who was passing away. I care that my father he died from doctors’ mistakes“.
“Adonis Georgiadis himself knows the mistakes of the doctors and the hospital. I am surprised that Adonis Georgiadis has not come forward to say that Giannis Kallianos is right. I am surprised that my friend Adonis has not come forward whom I begged to do something telling him that my father is dying,” said Mr Kallianos, adding:
“To his credit Adonis Georgiadis called the hospital and took me back and said “John, there has been a medical board and the doctors said everything is going great with your father and I’m not here to tell the doctor what to do.” I am not here to attack Mitsotakis or the NSS. Kyriakos Mitsotakis took me and spoke to me humanely, he told me that they are all shocked and that they will look to see what has happened. Adonis Georgiadis, you are a man, you honor your pants and the faction. Go out and answer publicly if we talked and you told me what I say.”

As the MP argued, “My father wanted an Intensive Care Unit to support his breathing, not ICU. He had to be in the ICU before they intubated him. It took 4 days before they intubated him, enough time to save him, but… “.
The new complaint of Yannis Kallianos, who said “My father they operated on him in a simple room and there probably without robes without anything and they took the pruning shears and they cut off his finger My father. I have no backs or entrepreneurs or mechanisms or anything. I struggle alone with my work. I am the child of two civil servants. My father’s finger was amputated without what should have been done, to be operated on in an operating room, in a sterile environment. I have messages from other people, telling me about the doctor “why did you go there, our people also died after amputation”.
“I will take them to Justice”
“I am ashamed as an MP to say about things I saw in this hospital. I will tell the courts. In honor of my father, who we knew has many ailments and came in for a finger amputation. They put the biggest mask on him and he was getting almost no oxygen. What could I do; Who should I get? They told me he was doing well, while I watched my father die.”said Yiannis Kallianos.
Concluding, he stated “I will take them to the end, I am not afraid of anyone, I have everything on record, I will take them to Justice. He could live 10 days or a day, their father should not have died like this. I wish the children of doctors and of the commander and deputy commander of the Hospital, may they never be seen, as I saw my father…”.
