Spyros Publications firmly believes that the driving force behind the development of the insurance market is education and training. The “Investments and Insurance”the “Insurance Agents – Everything the law requires insurance agents to know” of Mr. Costas Papaioannou and the “Aristotle – Rhetoric Courses for Communication Executives and Insurers” by Mr. Christos Stavridis are three books that serve this point of view.
The “Investments and Insurance” of Mr. Costas Papaioannou is sold out, while there are still a number of books available from “Insurance Agents – Everything the law requires insurance agents to know” of Mr. Costas Papaioannou and the “Aristotle – Rhetoric Courses for Communication Executives and Insurers” of Mr. Christos Stavridis. So far close to 2,200 books have been requested by insurers, bankers and insurance companies! Kudos to the CEOs who sent thank you letters for the publication and to the author and showed that they love the book and recognize the role of literacy in the growth of their company, unlike some who have not found time to engage and others are promoting photocopies. However, all those involved received an honor and free books.
The summer is suitable for studying similar books. Books, real tools for every insurance professional.

Investments and Insurance
Seeing the need to understand the material required for success in the Bank of Greece C certification exams, investment products, based on insurance, led to the release of the book “Investments and Insurance”, by Spyros Publications which is already sold out!
The purpose of the book, writes the author of Costas V. Papaioannou, is “to help its readers to succeed in the TtE exams for obtaining the Certificate of Professional Knowledge of Investment Products based on insurance (Unit Linked), after the passing of Laws 4364 /2016 (Solvency) and 4583/2018 (IDD)’. At the same time, the reputation and prestige of the insurance market intermediaries is rising, vis-à-vis consumers, which is also the main pursuit of DEIA and the Governor of the Bank of Greece, Mr. I. Stournara.
It will certainly help the insurance market more widely if old brokers and young passers join the new production forces, after getting the book, that will lead them to “read what they read”, (think of what production over 1,000 mediators who failed exams). Experts on the subject will increase production and we hope that the Managing Directors of Insurance Companies will also add the book by K. V. Papaioannou, “Investments and Insurance” to their “weapons” for improving their human resources, which everyone knows that “companies are their people”.
Aristotle – Rhetoric courses for communications executives and insurers
Aristotle taught logic to Alexander the Great and, through his philosophical work, to every philosopher after him to the present day. It is indeed difficult to believe that one can be directly and effectively helped in one’s daily life by Aristotle who lived 2,400 years ago.
With this book, making use of these valuable insights, we acquire the skill of propriety and propriety, that is, expressing our thoughts to our listener or audience in a way that cannot be disputed but at the same time is beautiful and elegant. formulated.

Bringing the Aristotelian work into everyday life, encouraging readers to think philosophically, this book opens a unique way of cultivating thinking and critical ability, self-awareness and self-realization. A valuable tool for every communication executive, insurer, but also everyone who wants to communicate effectively.
Because philosophy, real philosophy, can be really valuable in our lives. The publisher Evangelos Spyrou noted in the foreword of the book: Communication with others is perhaps the most important first step towards success or failure, because there are many obstacles, from the beginning to the destination of an idea, a thought, a commercial proposition, a message, a request, an opinion, an opinion. On one day, I counted over a hundred obstacles between transmitter and receiver, between one transmitting and others receiving.
Christos G. Stavridis, with his book “Aristotle: Rhetoric Courses for Communication Executives and Insurers”, in the form of courses, touches on the subject of communication and becomes particularly useful to insurers and communication experts who are looking for arguments, so that his opinions can be believed of their minds, which, among other things, are not easily grasped, since, among other things, “nothing is faster than the mind”, according to Aristotle.
Insurance Agents – Everything the law requires insurance agents to know
The need to modernize knowledge, education, align with the new data of legislation and also to understand the material required to pass the Insurance Agent professional knowledge certification exams of the Bank of Greece, led to the release of the book “Insurance Agents”, by Spyros Publications. A book – a tool that should not be missing from any library of the insurance market.
This is the second book in a row by Kostas Papaioannou in collaboration with Spyros Publications which, as he emphasizes, a new era dawned in the education and mandatory knowledge of insurance intermediaries, due to the legislative and supervisory regulations.
The mandatory knowledge certifications (and re-certifications) of insurance agents, their coordinators and (re)insurance brokers, as well as the other involved administrative officers, are a fact that have caused the “discharge” of many, but at the same time have led the Hellenic Insurance Market one step closer to its better organization, European data and I hope European productive averages.
This new book comes to fill an important educational gap observed in the insurance market, as evidenced by the high failure rates in the certification exams, and to help insurance intermediaries, on the one hand, to improve their success rates in the Bank of Greece exams and on the other hand, the older ones, to modernize their knowledge and align it with the requirements of legislation and supervision.
In this book there are all the necessary knowledge of intermediaries, concerning IDD, Solvency II, GDPR, AML and all other necessary and mandatory knowledge included in the certification exams of the Bank of Greece concerning insurance agents, but and all those involved.
We claim that this new book is the complete and modern “dictionary of insurance” in Greece for agents, as they have been formed in 2022.
Subject matter experts will increase production and we hope that CEOs of Insurance Companies will order and add K. V. Papaioannou’s book, “Insurance Agents” to their “weapons” for improving their human resources, which all they know that “companies are their people”.
