They will work today, Palm Sunday, the shopsas part of the holiday schedule for the Easter.
The hours proposed by trade associations for small shops are from 11 am to 4 pm, while the Business Association Retail Greece suggests to its members to operate from 11 in the morning until 8 in the evening.
As far as the opening hours of Holy Week are concerned, the shops will operate continuously from 9 am to 9 pm from Holy Monday to Holy Thursday, while for Good Friday the small shops are proposed by the trade associations to operate from 1 in the afternoon until 7 in the afternoon.
SELPE suggests to its members to operate from 1 in the afternoon until 9 in the evening.
For Holy Saturday, SELPE suggests opening the shops from 9 am to 9 pm, while the trade associations suggest opening hours from 9 am to 3 pm.
On Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday the shops will be closed.
On Tuesday they will be closed due to the postponement of the May Day celebration.
