Caretaker government: 3 ex-military ministers to be sworn in today Friday, remarkable as it has never happened before
In front of the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and in the presence of the Prime Minister Ioannis Sharma, the members of the caretaker government will be sworn in today, May 26 at 12:00, while from 13:00 onwards the handover and acceptance ceremonies at the Ministries will begin.
The main task of the caretaker government may be to organize and conduct the elections, but the country should be governed normally until June 25.
The outgoing Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis informed the official Ioannis Sharma about specific milestones that will occupy the government in the coming weeks and the file he handed over to him was very voluminous.
It contained the summary presentation of the figures and results of the Presidency of the Government, the consolidated plan of the government policy of 2023, as well as the annual action plans of the Ministries.
Along with the blue envelope, Kyriakos Mitsotakis handed over a letter to the caretaker prime minister, where among other things it was stated that one of the main goals of the failed government was to consolidate the continuity of the state and the public administration regardless of political changes.
