The investigation of an armed robbery that took place on 5-4-2022 at a gas station in Ampelokipi, “he took out sea bass» for the police officers of the Attica Security Directorate.

Specifically, for her robbery a 40-year-old man was identified as one of the perpetrators, and following investigations he was located and arrested. But with him his 40-year-old wife was also arrestedas a search of their home revealed a large number of contraband tobacco products.

The couple was arrested yesterday morning in Ampelokipi, with the couple being accused of violations of the law on addictive substances and the National Customs Code, and the 40-year-old additionally for robbery.

In a search carried out at the 40-year-old’s house, in which his co-accused was also found, as well as in two other houses, the sum of 25,440 euros, 4,330 packs of contraband cigarettes, 235 packs of contraband tobacco, 11.2 gr. cannabis, 3 mobile phones, club, cartridge and notebook with handwritten notes for sums of money.

Two vehicles used cfor the transport of contraband tobacco products.

The arrested were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
