Game 2 of Panathinaikos AKTOR’s series with Maccabi had a third part with the tension that existed in the locker room corridor, with Ergin Ataman stating that a member of the Israeli delegation told him “you will see what the Zionists will do to you”.
The Israeli website one.co.il published a VIDEO that showed part of the tension that existed between the Turkish coach and a member of the Maccabi team, where Panathinaikos coach AKTOR is seen furiously shouting: “What are you doing in my locker room? Who is this guy?” He just got the answer that “i’m from israel” broke out again, shouting: “What are you doing in my locker room? Who is this; Call security on this guy.”
According to the Israeli website, the Israeli who had this intense dialogue with Ataman is called Benny Baklo and is a close friend of Maccabi’s major shareholder, Shimon Mizrahi.
