Neighbors of the family’s Lancaster home heard gunshots and screams the night of the shooting.
“Within about two minutes of him walking into the house you started hearing gunshots,” a neighbor recalled, according to abc7.
The children’s mother eventually discovered the bodies of the four children and her mother when she returned home that evening.
Neighbors saw her running outside shouting “My babies are gone! They’re all dead!”
