There is nothing worse than waiting for a long time at the baggage claim airplanewhile all the other passengers have already taken their suitcases them and have left the airport. However, it turns out there’s a ‘sneaky’ way to give your suitcase a better chance of getting out first.
According to the New York Post, you can get a sticker “fragility» from the airport staff and stick it on your suitcase. This way you will minimize your waiting time when the plane lands at your destination. Baggage labeled “fragile” is often the last to enter the plane and therefore the first to leave.
Of course, there is another way, which you more or less imagine: to do check in last. This ensures that your bag is loaded last on the plane and everyone knows that last in means first out. The only bad thing in this case is that there is a possibility that if you don’t calculate the times well, you will end up missing the plane.
Finally, one more method that ensures timely baggage collection – at least for some airlines – is the use of services priority. When you get to check-in to drop off your bag, just make sure the employee sticks a priority tag on your bag and you’re good to go.
