As the wife of the New Democracy MP and a meteorologist pointed out, her father-in-law spoke normally until before he was intubated.
“Yiannis is not crazy, nor does he mishear. The responsible doctor who was following him said that we are doing well, that the tests are good. John’s brother, Christos Kallianos, when he saw his father, said that he is rotting and that the situation is reversible if he received more specialized cardiopulmonary support. Sepsis is a heavy and serious condition, even when the patient receives proper care,” said Haris Damianou.
He then added: “The professor denied that my father-in-law’s condition was so serious and said that he did not need further treatment. The man was short of breath, giving oxygen and showing saturation all the time, and we heard a “let’s go”. Until the day he was intubated, he was doing well.”
