New responsibilities for K. Menegakis

With a new decision of the mayor of Rhodes, Mr. Alexandros Koliadis, the municipal councilor Mr. Kon was appointed as the deputy mayor of the Municipal Unit of Attavyros, Preschool Education and as the deputy of Civil Protection. Menegakis.

The mayor’s decision states the following:
“WE DECIDE
A. We appoint the Municipal Councilor of the majority Konstantinos Menegakis of Simeon as DEPUTY MAYOR OF THE MUNICIPAL UNIT OF ATTAVYRO, PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION AND SUBSTITUTE FOR CIVIL PROTECTION with remuneration, from the publication of this document according to the law and for one (01) year, assigning him the following powers, with except for disciplinary powers which are non-transferable.

In more detail:
A’1. The local responsibilities of the Municipal Unit of Attavyros as follows:
• Ensures the proper functioning of the municipal services established in the territory of the municipal unit.

• Monitors the progress of the projects and works carried out in the municipal unit.
• Ensures the good condition and operation of the equipment located in the municipal unit.
• Supervises the staff who serve in the decentralized services of the municipal unit and cooperates with the Deputy Mayors responsible for the matter

• Supervises, monitors and coordinates the operational operation of workshops and equipment in the said municipal unit to serve the daily life of the citizen
• Works with the Presidents of the local communities of the territory of the municipal unit to cover their needs

A’2. A deputy of the Mayor – Registrar is appointed at the Registrar’s Office of the Municipal Unit of Attavyro, with the authority to sign notarial deeds and validate copies thereof in the event of the Mayor’s absence or impediment as Registrar when the Registrar appointed by the Mayor is absent or obstructed.

A.3. He signs every document concerning the municipal authority and actions or administrative acts of the Decentralized Departments in the territory of the unit, except for permanent residence certificates and census certificates as defined by the legislation on civil marriage licenses and their performance, the operation and management of cemeteries.

A.4. The supervision, responsibility, monitoring and signing of all decisions and documents during the operation of the Directorate of Preschool Education and Creative Employment.
A.5. The representation of the Municipality of Rhodes in all co-financed programs of the Directorate of Preschool Education with the right to sign that binds the Municipality.

A.6. The replacement of the competent Authorized Civil Protection Adviser. In cases of replacement, he undertakes the supervision, responsibility, monitoring and signing of all decisions and documents during the operation of the Civil Protection responsibilities of the eponymous organic unit (Article 9 of the OEY) and represents the Municipality in all institutions of the Greek state and non-governmental organizations for the planning and coordination of civil protection actions.

It ensures the readiness of all the available potential of the Municipality, the equipment of the machines and vehicles to deal with emergency situations of natural phenomena. It cooperates with the Local Communities on matters of Civil Protection prevention and dealing with natural disasters.

B. The above Deputy Mayor during his term of office cannot be elected or be a member of the presidium of the municipal council.
C. The revocation of the deputy mayor is possible at any time and for the reason judged by the mayor as the administrative body of the municipality, without the obligation to cite a special justification.
D. In the event of the Deputy Mayor’s absence or disability, the duties are performed by the Mayor
E. In the event of the Mayor’s absence or disability, he will be replaced in his duties by the Deputy Mayor who has been expressly appointed by him.

F. This notice to be posted on the website of the Municipality of Rhodes and on the “DIAVGEIA” program.
