For the last time in this television season, Antonis Kanakis with “Radio Arvyla” came to our television receivers, on Thursday night, through the program of ANT1. The daily satirical show completed its new cycle with the presenter from Thessaloniki renewing the appointment for next year and explaining why this season had two faces.

Thus, in the last part of the episode of Radio Arvyla, Antonis Kanakis wanted to thank the television audience for its constant support while highlighting, at the same time, his personal concerns. “It’s the last Radio Arbyla for the season, we started in November and it’s the end of April. Before Easter every season ends and once again, unfortunately, it was a season for us that had two faces. The pleasant and the unpleasant. The unpleasant thing is all this rot, which we live around us and now affects us too much. The world has changed, man, and very strange things are happening. Since last year, since Tempe, we still haven’t recovered. In other words, since the change that took place in our psychology in relation to broadcasting and communication, we have not come to our senses and I don’t know if we will come again”.

“Last year we experienced this tragedy, this year we experienced the other crime. The most shameless cover up ever with the arrogance of the 41% in our faces. A cover-up that filled us with anger, sadness and insulted first the people who “left” and their families and then the intelligence of all of us. Which was done in an incredible way, in front of our faces, in order to bury the real responsibilities for this crime.”

“So we experienced this thing this year and that was the reason we decided for the first time to open our doors and ask for a discussion, to invite and host a political leader and specifically the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis on this matter. Who, of course, turned through the engagement and avoided this interview like hell. On the one hand, it may be a sign for us that the prime minister avoids coming here, but on the other hand, it is sad and unpleasant because he must at some point finally speak. Not in these interviews that he goes and gives, it is sad and almost a shame that the prime minister of the country is hiding for something that has hurt the whole country.”

“But there was also the beautiful part which is the communication with you, the moments we spend here, the fact that I think we and you are at this time and everything that is happening is something beautiful. That’s why we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, as we also thank all our partners very much, who give their allAntonis Kanakis also added in the last Arvyla Radio for this season on Thursday night on ANT1, only to hear, a little while later, the now familiar song and the entire television crew leave the set.
