Another fatal traffic accident, which occurred at dawn in Elefsina, will be added to the long list of accidents in our country.
This time a 31-year-old man died, while a 25-year-old man is hospitalized in serious condition.
According to what has become known, everything happened shortly after midnight, when the vehicle in which the two men were traveling veered off its course at the junction of Kanellopoulou and Mourikis streets, near Elefsina beach.
Road accident in Elefsina: The vehicle overturned
The severity of the accident was such that the vehicle overturned, requiring the intervention of the Fire Service in order to extricate the injured passenger. EKAV ambulances immediately rushed to the scene of the accident, transporting the unlucky driver to Thriassio and the 25-year-old passenger in critical condition to Tzanio.
It is noted that unconfirmed information so far states that the overturning of the vehicle was caused after a collision with a parked truck.
The relevant information from the Fire Service points out that 12 firefighters with 4 vehicles attempted the extrication operation.
