After huge demand for the most coveted theater ticket of the last three years, the “phenomenon” performance “The Accidental Death of an Anarchist” with 300,000 spectators, consecutive sold outs and endless waiting lists, it says goodbye to the season and the theater-loving audience with a few summer performances, on June 5 (sold out) and 6, at the Katrakeio Theater and with the initial dream team distribution of the first year before passing into the pantheon of performances that made history.
Panos Vlachos, Thodoris Skyftoulis, Costas Maglaras, Phoivos Rimenas, Ifigenia Asteriadis and Stelios Petsos with his live music Vayu Prapa they introduce us to the universe of the Nobel laureate Dario Fo.
Based on real events, the play is a masterfully farcical and denunciatory satire on violence, idiocy, arbitrariness of power and political corruption.
Dario Fo manages to “uncover” the murder of the “anarchist railwayman” Giuseppe Pinelli by the Italian police. In a satirical and ironic way, he denounces the tragic event, criticizes the abuse of power and criticizes the unseemly power of the Italian justice system.
