An exhibition of painting and decoration on fabric entitled “Girls of May” by the visual artist Amalia Pavlidou, is inaugurated by Pylaia-Hortiatis municipality and the Deputy Mayor of International Relations, Arts & Sports Development, today, Friday, April 26, 2024 at 18:30 in the “Litsa Fokidi” hall of the Panorama Cultural Center.

Applied to jeans, but also silk fabrics, the artist explores the paths of joy, with combinations of colors, textures, qualities, stones and crystals. Its goal is always Simplicity, Harmony and Balance. As Amalia Pavlidou believes “if a woman chooses these qualities to “dress up and go out” into the world, then her presence will always attract corresponding behaviors”.

The entrance will be free for the public, while the “Litsa Fokidi” hall of the Panorama Cultural Center will be open from 11.00 in the morning until 21.00 at night.

Amalia Pavlidou was born in Thessaloniki. He studied Political Science at the Panteion University of Athens and Graphic Design in the USA. He worked as a graphic designer and did 2 painting exhibitions (watercolors). He participated in fashion shows, creating the “themes” on the clothes (painting-composition).
