In the morning hours today, the Port Authority of Oinoussa was informed about the existence of foreigners in the wider area of the island.
Following an investigation carried out by officers of the Port Authority, a total of fifteen (15) foreigners (10 men, 03 women and 02 minors) were located in the north-northeast land area of Oinoussa. Afterwards, the foreigners were transported by LS-EL.AKT patrol boat. in the port of Chios, in order to be delivered to the Closed Controlled Facility of Chios.
A preliminary investigation is carried out by the Central Port Authority of Chios.

In an inspection carried out yesterday at the port of Mytilini, by officers of the Fisheries office of the Port Authority, two (02) fish boxes containing twenty-nine kilograms and eight hundred grams (29.8 gr) of shells were found inside a F/G-P/G vehicle of the clam species, which were trafficked without the prescribed traffic documents, within a prohibited season, while they did not meet the traceability conditions.
Administrative sanctions were confirmed by the Central Port Authority of Mytilini, while the catches were confiscated.

At noon yesterday, a 66-year-old foreigner was pulled unconscious from the sea area of the Rethymnon beach. First aid was initially provided to the 66-year-old, while he was then transported by EKAB ambulance to the General Hospital of Rethymnon, where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation is carried out by the Port Authority of Rethymno.

The following transfers of patients, who needed immediate hospital care, were carried out by the Operations Center of the Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard:
– 9-year-old from the port of Agios Efstratiou to the port of Myrina, by patrol boat LS-EL.AKT. and
– 88-year-old woman from “PEFKO” cove, Skyros Prefecture, in the port of Kymi, with the E/P – T/R “KYMOTHO” Rafina Prefecture, 73.
