Concert of religious choral music today in Evangelismos

A concert of religious choral music entitled “We Worship Your Passion Christ” will be held by the Mixed Choir of the Municipality of Rhodes today, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Holy Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos at 8:30 in the evening.

The Mixed Choir of the municipality of Rhodes, which this year completes 62 years of continuous artistic presence and offering, as it states “will present a musical journey flooded with ecclesiastical polyphonic hymns, so that the audience will pass from the initial ecstasy and drama of the Passion Week to the festive atmosphere of the Resurrection of the God-man and of spiritual upliftment”.

Compositions by: Mozart, Praetorius, Mokranjac, Victoria, Manganelli, Mantzarou, Papaconstantinou, Polykratis, Triantis etc. will be heard. accompanied on the piano by Ms. Angeliki Stavridis and on the cello by Ms. Oxana Gluskova.
The artistic supervision and musical direction of the concert is the conductor, Mr. Michalis Kalaentzis.
Admission to the public is free and doors will open at 8:00 pm.
