One video-document which was stored by an unknown person on a USB stick, which he left in the field of “G. Karaiskakis”, is apparently the “key” that led to the arrests of fans, for the incidents and the murder of Giorgos Lyggeridis.
According to the latest reports, on February 18 and while the police investigation was in full swing, an unknown person called the sports violence response service at 15:00 and stated: “I left a flashlight across from Gate 5 in Karaiskakis. It has the movements of the organized ones before the episodes“.
A police officer was immediately found at the scene and took the stick, in which 15 videos were found showing who left the stadium, who was involved in the incidents, but also the movements of the two leaders of the criminal organization.
The stick was taken to ELAS laboratories in order to detect if there were traces of DNA, while what the police suspect is that one of the arrested left the stick in order to lighten his position.
The accused fans will plead before the investigators next weekend, for participating in a criminal organization.
