30 videos and 3 protected witnesses “burn” the hooligans – The “unknown” stickman and the attack on SKAI

A stick left by a stranger outside the “Georgios Karaiskakis” stadium on February 18, 2024 and subsequently informed the police about his existence, 15 videos and photos provided by 3 detainees, as well as the 3 protected witnesses who provided names and incidents involving the hooligans, revealed the way they acted on the day of the assassination of Giorgos Lyggeridis.

In these videos, the movements of the “short” and the manager of a well-known trapper are mainly captured, who lead the “army” of hooligans outside the “Melina Mercouri” and then provide them with ammunition and give orders to start the attack against of MAT.

Among the video material that the police have in their hands, there is also a video of the route followed by the convoy of the accused, with a route from Neo Faliro to Rentis.

All three protected witnesses who bear the code names “67E”, “67F” and “67B” have a key role in the action of the alleged criminal organization.

The “Karaiskakis” vip stick

At 14:50 at noon on February 18, according to EL.AS., “an unknown person called our service and reported that he had left a flash with a video of the episodes in Rentis in “Melina Merkouri”, in which you can see who from the stable went out and made episodes.

A police officer from our service went to the spot, where he actually found the storage device in question. Above was sent to the Criminal Investigations Division to extract any video footage and then for laboratory tests to identify the owner of the device.

The 7 Digital Evidence Examination department of the above service identified 15 video filesin which the horseshoe on which the organized fans of Olympiakos are sitting, shortly before they leave the stadium, and then their movement, where, following the orders of two individuals, they leave to attack the Police.

The statements of the protected witnesses

The three protected witnesses, whose existence was not made public until the day of the arrests of the members of the organization, gave the police information about attacks in which the leading figures participated, but also how they guided the “little ones” to carry out incidents.

In one case, according to what the protected witness “67E” testified:

“On December 2, 2021, a robbery attack took place in Menidi, Attica, when four fans of the Olympiakos team, riding in an I.X.E. car followed a person, who was working as a food distributor and who was wearing a cap of the AEK team and because they thought he happened to be a fan of the AEK team, they decided to immobilize him and after stabbing him, they removed the cap he was wearing. As reported by the Protected Witness “67E”, the goal of the fans of the Olympiakos team was to attack another fan of the AEK team”.

Among the perpetrators was the manager of the well-known trapper.

A few days later and specifically on December 12, 2021, the same protected witness reports one more incidentwith the participation of the manager, but also of another leading executive:

“On 12/12/2021, attacks took place outside the “Georgios Karaiskakis” stadium, when Olympiacos fans attacked before the start of the match between the OLYMPIAKOS-ARIS teams, at the expense of Police Forces.

Among the attackers was the member of the Criminal organization H.M., who gave a “MIKRO” to throw a naval flare, which he gave him, but in the end he launched it himself, in fact at a very close distance from the Police and he almost hit one of them as it landed on his shield.

In the same match, H.M. he took out a knife, which he showed to the police and told them that he would stab them, while the member of the Criminal Organization M.D. threw stones at the Police. The rest of the perpetrators were “SMALL”, but none of them have been identified so far.”

The attack of the “Saints” on SKAI

At 18:00 in the evening of December 5, 2022, shortly before the start of the OSF – PAO match at SEF, two people dressed as “Santa Clauses” gave the order to attack the police forces in the underground passage and next to the SKAI TV station.

From the videos and the testimony of the protected witness “67E” it emerged that the 27-year-old manager of the well-known trapper was dressed in a Santa Claus outfit and also wore a gas mask and a crossbody bag, which contained Molotov cocktails. A 24-year-old man arrested was also dressed in a Santa Claus outfit, wearing a white beard.

Before the start of the match, approximately 50-100 fans, having covered their facial features with full-face hoods, moved with Molotov cocktails and wooden poles towards the underground passage leading to the SKAI TV station and attacked the police forces.

They also threw live fire flares and stones. The police pushed them towards the parking lot of the stadium, where the attacks continued. The episodes lasted about 30 minutes, while this specific attack, according to the police, had homicidal intent and it was of the same scale as the attacks on Rentis.
