A portable storage device helped the police to identify those involved in the attack with the victim of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis, last December.

At noon on February 18, an unknown man called the police and said he had left a portable storage device at a certain location that contained videos of the events at Rentis showing which people came out and did the attack.

A police officer went to the scene and indeed found the device which was taken to the Forensic Laboratories. Inside the device, there were 15 videos showing two organized – according to the authorities – fans giving orders to attack the MAT outside the volleyball court.

The two leading members of the criminal organization distributed the naval flares and molotov cocktails to the rest and gave the signal to start the episodes.

A new video-documentary, showing the march of the fans shortly before the events that claimed the life of the policeman, has come to light. In the said video, dozens of two-wheelers and at least 4 vehicles can be seen heading towards the court before the volleyball match.
