A new video document has been released from the fateful night of the incidents outside the closed gym of Rentis where the tragic end was the fatal injury of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis.

According to what was leaked from the Greek Police investigation into the bloody incident of fan violence, these are images of a convoy of motorbikes and cars with hooligans, carrying “munitions” from the Karaiskakis stadium to the closed Rentis just before the fatal blow to the unfortunate policeman of MAT.

In particular, a short time before the attack on the closed stadium of Rentis, in a MAT squad, about 35 to 40 people, who were riding about 10 to 15 motorcycles and four cars gathered in front of the official (VIP) door of the stadium ” C. Karaiskakis”.

After placing the “warfare” inside the cars, they formed a convoy “protecting” – accompanying the motorcycles the cars, and moved in an organized and coordinated manner towards the indoor gym “Melina Merkouri”.

The cameras were not recording in Karaiskakis

The police officers of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Sports Violence contacted the Kaminion-Neu Faliro Police Department by phone, who informed them that the cameras of the “G. Karaiskakis” do not record when there is no football match of the Olympiakos team and the video footage from the stadium’s security cameras is deleted after two days.

Therefore, and because two days had passed since the day the initial meeting point of the perpetrators became known from the conducted preliminary investigation, no video footage was seized from the Faleri stadium.
