Both the 18-year-old remanded in custody for the death of Giorgos Lyggeridis and his minor brother, who was arrested early yesterday, had a role in the organization, planning and transportation of the munitions. This is according to the security investigation, although their father insists that his children are not to blame.

As revealed by Katerina Rista, in the report of the Star’s central news bulletin, the two brothers together with 32 more members of the organization, a few hours before the murder of Lyggeridis, gathered outside the VIP door at the Karaiskaki stadium, in order to load munitions into the cars and transport them to the Melina Merkouri stadium. They stayed outside Karaiskakis for an hour.

The two brothers, while outside Karaiskakis, were instructed by the manager to go to a gas station and stock up on gasoline to make Molotov cocktails.
