At least one of today’s arrests as part of the major operation against fan violence was highly episodic.

Episodic was the arrest of one of the 60 arrested for the murder of the police officer in the events in Rentis.

According to the “ANT1” report, “around 05:00 in the morning the security officers went to Nice to handcuff a 22-year-old, this is a young man who was also brought in last December, immediately after the incidents that took place outside the closed in Rentis

As soon as the police arrived at his door and before they could ring the bell, declaring their status, the 22-year-old opened the door, had a glop in his hands and attacked and head-butted a police officer.

Immediately after that he closed the door and locked it. One of the police officers went to one of the exits of the house to prevent the 22-year-old from leaving. Immediately after, his colleagues entered the house, found him and handcuffed him.

After an investigation, which lasted several minutes, they also located the glove, which the young man had managed to hide. He told the police that he thought they were robbers and that’s why he attacked, since he also had cameras and saw them from there.
