Lyggeridis murder: One of the moral perpetrators tried to escape abroad

New developments have come to light in the last few hours, regarding the murder of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis with a naval flare in Rentis.

The information states that one of the moral perpetrators of the murderous attack on the police officer in Rentis, he tried to escape abroad, however he was spotted in Ioannina while he was driving towards the border. So far since the police operation that started on Sunday night, more than 57 people have been arrested and the number of wanted people is more than 60 people.

Among those arrested, they are the five moral authors and two leading members, that is, those who gave the trigger for the attack against the MAT on the night of December 7. Yes, one of those arrested is the brother of the 18-year-old who was originally arrested as a natural perpetratoras he was the one who had dropped the naval flare.

It is noted that the case file that has been filed has more than 150 defendants. All are charged with, among other things, participation in a criminal organization, while the case file does not only concern Rentis’ case but also other fan incidents in which those involved had an organizational and executive role. Those arrested will be arraigned on Tuesday before the public prosecutor, in order to be officially charged with the serious charges.
