The Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas was together with the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Central Vegetable Market in Agios Ioannis Rentis.
In his statements, Mr. Skrekas emphasized that “the government’s effort to maintain affordable prices for households in view of the Easter table continues. We are not complacent. We see that gradually the prices of fruit and vegetable products have started to decline. Of course, the effort continues.
What will happen to the “Godfather’s Basket” and “Easter Basket”
Today begins the “Godfather’s and Godmother’s Basket”, where we will give the possibility, with the included products, to the godparents to make our children happy during the Easter holidays.
On Wednesday, the day after tomorrow, the “Basket” for the Easter holiday table will also start, which will include lamb, bun and of course chocolate eggs, so that we can ensure affordable prices. Prices for lamb and goat, which will be the same or even lower in the “Basket”, compared to the corresponding Easter period last year.
