The weather during Holy Week
On Wednesday, the bad weather subsides somewhat, while on Thursday a short wave passes again, which will also turn the winds to northwesterly and clear the atmosphere. From Friday, Saturday and then, we will have meltemia in the Aegean, with the intensities reaching close to 6-7 Beaufort, with the result that the mercury will drop to more normal values for the season.
According to Clearchos Marousakis, the weather conditions will be unstable during Holy Week. Some bad weather will pass with the result that rainfall will occur. It is possible that a wave of bad weather will pass near Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, to bring some rain and drop the temperature to more normal levels for the season, with temperatures reaching 23-24 degrees Celsius. Finally, OPEN’s meteorologist mentioned that the unsettled weather at Easter is something common.
