According to police sources, the girl was given information and instructions in order to receive, if she wishes, the appropriate moral support and the necessary material assistance from the competent agencies. Also, the Panic Button application was not installed on her mobile phone, after she was previously informed about this possibility, as well as about the possibility of transferring her to the Forensic Service, but also about her temporary hosting in a safe place. She, however, did not wish for it.

In January 2022, Olympiacos football player Ruben Semedo was arrested, accused by his partner of beating him. The 27-year-old girl called the Police and complained that the Portuguese defender had taken her mobile phone and locked her outside their house in Glyfada. Immediate Action arrived at the scene and located both of them, taking them to the special department for complaints of domestic violence established in Alimos. The depositions lasted about 2 hours and Semedo was arrested. A case file was opened against him for domestic violence, which is an ex officio prosecuted offence. He was then released pending trial.
