After the government interventions, the prices of detergents and stationery were reduced in supermarkets in March, but food… caught fire. According to an IELKA survey of large supermarket chains, in March 2024 price increases were recorded in water and soft drinks (+9.40%), in nuts and snacks (+5.02%), in ready meals (+4, 62%), in dry grocery foods (+4.57%), in cookies, chocolates, confectionery (+4.31%).

Supermarkets: Up to 11.75% increased prices on the shelves before measures to be exact

In the same month, fruit was sold more expensively by 1.77% in supermarket chains. Consumers see precision in the smallest purchase that concerns their diet.

The prime minister once again mentioned the issue of accuracy:

“We will continue to support Greek society in the face of the problem of punctuality. We are not hiding behind our finger is the first problem that faced the Greek household. And we know we’re doing our best to deal with it. According to the relevant announcement, it has already been determined that supermarkets will have the “Easter Basket” from April 24, 2024 to May 4, 2024, which will include:

– Goat
-Greek sweet bread
– Easter chocolate eggs and related products

Two days earlier, from April 22, in the big toy stores there will be the godfather’s basket, with children’s toys, candles and chocolate eggs.
