Hot new information about Assassin’s Creed Hexe and when it will be released

--

New hot information about Assassin’s Creed Hex brought to light by Insider Gaming, through its own reporting and sources, which also reveal not only the first juicy information but also when it’s expected.

So far the game is codenamed “Assassin’s Creed Hexe” and we don’t know if that will be its final title. Officially the executive producer had stated that it will be a very different game compared to the previous chapters. Also, its setting – based on Blomberg – will have as central theme of magic, heresies and witches, with the setting taking place in central Europe in the 16th century.

Now, Insider Gaming reports that AC Hexe is still in the relatively early stages of development and that itto be released within 2026, through the Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform, which will connect all the other games. It will essentially be the next AC game after Assassin’s Creed Red which is expected either in late 2024 or early 2025.

Its development is led by the team Ubisoft Quebec, which practically gave birth to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It’s going to be a much more linear experience than its predecessors that were based on open-world exploration, reminiscent of the first Assassin’s Creed games and the recent “Mirage“.

The main role in the game will be played by the protagonist – she will be the only one in the title – named Elsa, who will control some supernatural abilities (maybe she is a witch). In fact, Insider Gaming claims to have seen footage of Assassin’s Creed Hexe which for obvious reasons it cannot publish.

In these, however, some medieval German soldiers seem to be chasing her and she uses her magic to take over the body of a cat. Then, controlling the cat, the player throws a bottle that breaks on the ground and attracts the attention of the soldiers.

The whole vibe of Hexe is described as a gloomy and hazy setting in the cobbled streets of a European city. Hexe will also include a special mechanism similar to the “Fear system” we saw in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s “Jack the Ripper” DLC.
