The Boring Phone is a feature phone from Heineken and Bodega designed to be… boring – Smartphones

--

The well-known Heineken company and Bodega company have collaborated with HMD and their collaboration product is the Boring Phone.

The device is manufactured by HMD in a limited number of just 5,000 units, which will be distributed to lucky winners as a gift. Boring Phone was designed to be as basic and unobtrusive as possible, with no third-party apps or internet access to distract you.

The Boring Phone is based on the Nokia 2660 Flip and has a transparent casing with some green details that refer to the colors of Heineken’s product packaging. The device has a 1.77″ screen on the outside, while inside there is the main TFT LCD screen with a diagonal of 2.8″ and a QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels). On the back there is a 0.3MP camera with LED flash.

The Boring Phone supports up to 4G connectivity and has two SIM card slots. Inside there is the Unisoc T107 processor (1.0GHz), 48MB RAM and 128MB ROM with the storage space expandable using a microSDHC memory card. The removable 1,450mAh battery promises up to a week of standby time and 6 hours of talk time on 3G/4G networks. It “runs” the Mocor RTOS and features the well-known and beloved Snake game while the FM radio and headphone jack are not absent.
