The preparation of Panathinaikos for the second game of the playoff series against Maccabi is hampered as, in addition to the imperative need to win Game 2, the “greens” also have to manage an absence involving Juansto Hernangomet.

The “clover” started his duties in the post season with the left, losing the lead through his hands. In the “green camp”, however, among others, they have to worry about Juansto Hernangomet and his state of health.

The international Spanish forward was injured during the first match at OAKA and at midday on Wednesday (24/4) he underwent tests, specifically an MRI at “Health” to accurately determine the extent of the damage he suffered.

Juancho Hernangomet is suffering from a muscle spasm in his left calf, a problem he got from the match, while he also has severe symptoms of sinusitis.

For the above reasons, he will not be able to make himself available to Ergin Ataman for Game 2 with Maccabi.

Juancho played nearly 21 minutes in Game 1 and was Panathinaikos’ leading rebounder with nine (8-1), but offensively he was limited to three points on just 1/2 two-pointers and 0/4 three-pointers. He also had two assists for no foul.
