There was great concern on Tuesday night (23.04.2024) for Carlos Tevez. The veteran striker and now coach of Independiente, felt severe chest pains, as a result of which he was rushed to a hospital in San Isidro, Buenos Aires.
Carlos Tevez spent the night in the hospital, undergoing medical tests, which will continue on Wednesday (24.04.2024), in order to establish the causes that caused the incident.
However, according to reports in the country, the stress of the 40-year-old coach, as well as the fact that he suffers from high blood pressure and undergoes regular medical checks, may have been the cause of the incident.
In a statement, Independiente confirmed the incident, however informing the public that there are no reasons for concern.
“Our coach, Carlos Tevez, went to La Trinidad hospital in San Isidro with chest pain. He did the necessary tests and they were satisfactory. Today he will continue with a series of tests planned in advance as part of a general check-up. Carlos Tevez will be hospitalized as a precaution until the corresponding tests are completed,” the club from Argentina said in its statement.
