AEK will face Panathinaikos tomorrow (24/04/24, 20:30, LIVE from Newsit.gr) for the 7th matchday of the Super League 1 playoffs, with EL.AS. to block gatherings of fans of the two teams.
The OPAP Arena will be full for AEK – Panathinaikos, but the fans of the Union and the fans of the “clover” intended to be in the hotels that have catalyzed the two missions, to cheer on their players before the top derby of the Super League 1.
EL.AS however, he announced that gatherings are prohibited in the two areas, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., as he had not been informed about this, as required by law.

It is announced that by decision of the Director of Police of Northeast Attica, the holding of public outdoor gatherings is prohibited on 4-24-2024 at 17:30 at a hotel in Nea Erythrea where the sports team of the “A.E.K.” football team resides, made up of fans of the above sports association and from 15:30 to 20:30 on 4-24-2024 of every public open-air gathering related to the above gathering as well as accompanying the sports mission by motorized march to the “OPAP ARENA” Stadium, in the urban network enclosed by the streets-boulevards:
- El. Venizelou – Romylias – Papaflessa – Antigoni, in the area of Nea Erythraia.
- El. Venizelou – Ag. Saranda – Varybompis bridge – N.E.O.A.L. (current towards Piraeus) – entrance of Attica street [από κόμβο Μεταμόρφωσης] – Kymi Avenue exit – Kapodistriou Avenue – National Antistaseos – El. Alamein – Smyrna – Patriarchou Konstantinou – underground parking of the “OPAP ARENA” stadium.
The above prohibition is imposed, on the one hand, as the organizers did not notify the local Police Authority of their intention to invite the general public to participate, at a specific place and time, in a public outdoor gathering as they should, in accordance with the provisions of article 3 par 1 & 2 of Law 4703/2020 and Article 3 of the Decree 73/2020, and therefore the prescribed procedure of the applicable legislation was not followed on public outdoor gatherings and, on the one hand, its conduct poses a serious risk to public safety and threatens serious disruption of socio-economic life in the specific area, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, the operation of the infrastructure and public facilities at the point of its implementation.

It is announced that by decision of the Director of the Athens Police, the holding of public outdoor gatherings is prohibited on 4-24-2024 at 5:00 p.m. in a hotel in the center of Athens where the sports team of the football team of “PANATHINAIKO A.O.” resides, made up of fans of the above sports association and from 15:00 to 20:30 on 4-24-2024 of every public open-air gathering related to the above gathering as well as accompanying the sports mission by motorized march to the “OPAP ARENA” Stadium, in the urban network enclosed by the streets-boulevards:

- Vass Alexandrou – Michalakopoulou Avenue – Mesogeion Avenue – Katehaki Avenue.
The above prohibition is imposed, on the one hand, as the organizers did not notify the local Police Authority of their intention to invite the general public to participate, at a specific place and time, in a public outdoor gathering as they should, in accordance with the provisions of article 3 par 1 & 2 of Law 4703/2020 and Article 3 of the Decree 73/2020, and therefore the prescribed procedure of the current legislation on public outdoor gatherings was not followed and on the one hand the conduct of the poses a serious risk to public safety and there is a threat of serious disruption of the socio-economic life in the specific area, the traffic of vehicles and pedestrians, the operation of the infrastructure and public facilities at the point of its implementation.
