In Colombia we have seen it all, but what happened in the football match between Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellín was… unprecedented.

Atletico Nacional’s Uruguayan midfielder Pablo Zeppelin was injured after a madman from the stands threw a knife at him while taking a corner in Colombia’s league game against Independiente Medellin.

At 90+3′ and while the score was 2-2, Zeppelini went to execute a corner and received a knife in the head! Fortunately, the knife didn’t land on the side of the blade, causing him a minor injury.

The game was temporarily halted but continued, with both teams emerging as level and 2-2 remaining.
