In a match for strong nerves, Aneza won 0-1, against Doxa, for the final of the 1st EPSA, and was anointed Champion.

For the first time in its history, PAS Aneza is celebrating the title of Champion of the 1st EPSA, which prevailed over Doxas, in an inconclusive final, with 0-1. Typically the visitors only wanted to win to take the Championship, since Doxa in the draw were superior, they entered the field in search of a goal, they chased it more than Doxa, and when they finally scored, the home team typically did not have much time and energy to return to the match, with Aneza prevailing and being crowned Champion. Aneza does not end the year here, since it follows the very demanding promotion barrage process, through which it will represent the prefecture against teams much stronger than the ones it faced in the EPSA Championship, claiming its promotion to the 3rd National League. while she also has the Cup final ahead of her, with Renaissance. In this way, the management of the team is vindicated, which made radical changes, escaping from the hunt for salvation in the previous years, and raising the level of the team. On the other hand, the value of the loser gives glory to the winner, and Doxa may not have been able to reach the coveted title for the second year, despite reaching the final, but they are a traditional power of the city, and the Championship will not be long. to come to her hands, if she continues like this.

In the competitive part, after the first introductory minutes, Doxa had a final after a corner, with the shot of Bithykoukis, but not strong, and Roubo going away, while the first final of Aneza came in the 14th minute, with Tsambas to make a good shot outside the area, which went about a meter past Nikolaidis’ goal. In the 23rd minute, Zois was in a good position, but he did not control well and was cut by Kostis, while three minutes later, the visitors missed a great opportunity, when Zois crossed well, the ball reached Tsambas who executed, with Nikolaidis however, he pushes the ball away to Roubo, who sent the ball high in an almost undefended goal, not having good balance. In the 33rd minute, Doxa had their first notable final, with Basioukas, after a fine individual effort, shooting from distance, Bakochristos weakly pushing away, but managing to block with a double effort, while in the same minute, Tsambas shot from outside the area, for Aneza, over the bars. In the 42nd minute, the Russian made a smart pass to Christogiannis, who shot hard with the left from outside the area, with Nikolaidis blocking, however, firmly, while the last phase of the first half had the same result, in the first minute of stoppage time with a header of Plakias, after a foul by Christogiannis, with the two teams going to the locker room tied with no goals.

In the replay, Aneza almost opened the scoring in an unsuspecting phase, when in the 50th minute, from the touchline, Tsambas made a tackle, the ball rose high and ended up on the crossbar of Nikolaidis and out, who if the ball went to goal, it would be difficult to react. In the 53rd minute, Christogiannis committed a direct free-kick from a distance, with Nikolaidis falling to his corner and making a difficult corner, from which a great opportunity was lost for Aneza, with Michalis crossing, Tsambas catching a well-turned header on the post, while in the next phase the same player, to shoot, through the area, to be blocked again by Nikolaidis in his corner. In the 59th minute, a free kick by Christogiannis went past everyone and went past Nikolaidis’ goal, while in the 70th minute, Doxa appeared for the first time in the second half, with Basioukas committing a free kick, which was firmly blocked by Bakochristos. The many set balls of Aneza brought results, in the 78th minute, when they took the lead in the score, with Christogiannis executing a nice corner in the heart of the defense, the ball passing through everyone and the Rubo on the line to push it into the net, writing it 0-1, amid wild celebrations of the guests. Doxa looked to find an immediate response and had an 80th-minute Basiuka shot blocked with a double effort to reach the very best opportunity presented to them to equalize and take the title score in the 89th minute when after a foul header to the back of Roubou, Goja found himself completely unmarked face to face with the goal, he took the header, which went just wide of the goal, with Kallia putting the projection, but not managing to give the ball a path to the net. In the 9 minutes of stoppage time, very little football was played, with Doxa trying to fill up, and Aneza chasing the balls away, unable to go on the counter, with Doxa’s defense open, but keeping the “nil” until the end, and getting a very big win, making her Champion.
