The participation of Aris in the Basketball Champions League is a burning desire, however, the Thessaloniki team will also participate in the EuroCup to be covered in any eventuality.
The participation of Aris in some European competition in the 2023-24 season is a main concern for the Thessaloniki team. The Basketball Champions League is still the priority for the yellow and black, but the EuroCup can work as an alternative plan, for this Aris will declare as everything points to participation there as well.
The deadline for submitting the necessary documents for the second edition of the EuroLeague expires on June 15, however, the expression of interest does not necessarily mean approval of participation, since the general meeting of the shareholders of the leading European interclub competition must first take place.
It should also be noted that FIBA and BCL will make their decisions on participating teams for the next season by June 23, with Aris hoping to be placed directly in the regular season and not in the qualifiers. If everything goes well and Aris finds a place in the BCL, then he will withdraw his intention to participate from the EuroCup.
