Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t fit in Al Nasr’s roster, so the Saudis kicked out their other big attacking star, Vincent Aboubakar.

All is not rosy with Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Al Nasr. The deal will cost the Saudis 500,000,000 euros over the next 2.5 years, but the Portuguese wouldn’t be able to wear their shirt if they didn’t kick out some players.

One of them was the big star of the offense until the acquisition of the 37-year-old superstar, Vincent Aboubakar. The Cameroon national team captain had a warm embrace with Ronaldo during his presentation a few days ago, as he was one of the few faces the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus ace knew, but they will not co-exist in Al Nasr’s attack line .

The maximum number of foreigners a club is allowed to have in the country is eight and for that Abubakar had to sacrifice himself. After all, he seemed to be out of the club’s plans for a long time. On the one hand his contract was high, on the other hand he would hardly fit in the same formation as Ronaldo.

In fact, it is possible that a strange… exchange will occur and the 30-year-old striker will end up at Manchester United, who are looking for a replacement for Ronaldo either in the free market or in the loan market.

On January 22 the debut

Ronaldo is still unusable though, despite the necessary space in Al Nasr’s roster. The reason is the two-match suspension he is carrying from England, which prevented him from making his debut at the packed “Mrsull Park” on Friday.

The next match is at the home of the second-ranked team, Al-Shabaab, but Ronaldo cannot compete in the top derby either. His unlikely debut will come on January 22 against Al Itifaq at the home of Al Nasr, when he will have served his suspension.
