Sofokles Pilavios spoke about the delay in the trial of Dinos Mitoglou and explained that the said delay might turn out to be a good thing.
The lawyer of the 26-year-old power forward spoke to “ERA Sport” and was positioned regarding his much-lauded trial Dino Mitoglou after the doping case.
“The case is not only mine, it is also the office of America, Mr. Howard Jacobs, who is also one of the lawyers of the management company that represents Dino. The process is not exactly like that, a long time has passed, but there was the so-called pre-trial, things that were required to get to the trial, which of course is not exactly a trial” were his words Sophocles Pilaviowho continued:
“We have done a lot of work, the so-called trial will probably take place next month. I didn’t like that the process took so long, but this delay can be good.” There is the right of two appeals, one to the FIBA Court of Appeal and the other to the CAS, where I will be forced to abandon the case, as I am a member of it”.
