Panathinaikos continued its counter-attack, beating Olympiakos 3-1 in Metz, tying the finals series 2-2 and staying alive in the women’s Volley League title battle. The championship will be decided in a fifth game in Rentis.
Olympiacos took a 2-0 lead in the Women’s Volley League finals series and looked ready to celebrate winning the championship with… a broom. However, Panathinaikos had a different opinion. Initially, on Saturday, he managed to make the “break” and reduce the score to 2-1, while today (24/4) he leveled the series (2-2) in Metz, defeating the team from Piraeus with 3-1 sets .
Panathinaikos threw a “party” in the first set (25-15), took the second (25-23) to the details and tried to finish the game in three sets, however Olympiacos managed to reduce it to 2-1 (23-25) .
The fourth set was also a thriller, from which Panathinaikos emerged victorious (25-23) to finish the game 3-1.
