THE Super League announced the changes that will take place in the playoff schedule – after Olympiakos’ qualification to its semi-finals Conference League– to… fit all the matches as well as the final of the Greek Cup in the calendar.
With the qualification of Olympiakos to the semi-final phase of the Conference League, the time data in the playoffs of the Super Leaguewhile the success of the “red and white” also affects the final of the Greek Cup.
Consequently, the organizing authority had to change the calendar of the league for the playoffs, shaping the competition schedule accordingly.
The postponed match between PAOK and Olympiacos that was originally scheduled for May Day has been moved to May 12, since on May 2 the “red and white” will face Aston Villa in Birmingham.
Subsequently, the 9th matchday of the playoffs will take place on May 15, while the 10th (last) four days later (19/5). This has the consequence of also changing the date of the final of the Greek Cup (Panathinaikos – Aris).
The last game of the tournament was scheduled for May 18, but it is expected to be moved a week later, namely to 5/25, of course after the consent of the EPO.
