Anti-terrorist officers in Patras proceeded to arrest a man.
According to information, the man was arrested on Monday morning in the Achaean capital and is accused of being part of a criminal organization, which had recently concerned the authorities and which is attributed to terrorist attacks that have taken place in Athens, Thessaloniki and Larissa, while 6 people were remanded in custody of the organization.
The authorities examined electronically his arrested documents which were sent to the forensic laboratories of Athens and evidence emerged from which the criminal case against him was formed.
According to the Police announcement: “By the Anti-Terrorist Service (D.A.E.V.E.B.), with the assistance of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and the Sub-Directorate of Security of Patras, he was identified and arrested in Patras, at noon today (April 22 2024), 38-year-old citizen, in execution of a relevant Arrest Warrant of the Athens Investigator for participation in the Terrorist Organization “Revenge Conspiracy Group (Ref. from 02-27-2024 Announcement of the Hellenic Police Headquarters). The arrested person will be brought before the competent Judicial Authorities”.
