A new wave of African dust has been affecting our country for a few hours now, while according to meteorologists the weather on Tuesday (23.4.2024) will be particularly cloudy, since the highest concentration of dust is expected.
In fact, on Tuesday the thermometer will climb to 35 degrees Celsius in Crete, reminiscent of August weather. From noon on Wednesday, the phenomenon will begin to recede.
According to EMY meteorologist, Thodoris Kolidas, “wait until midday on Wednesday when it will move away quickly from west to east.
The weather from Wednesday onwards “turns” to W-NW and until about the end of the week the dust will not concern us again”.

“On Tuesday, significant mud rains will occur in the central and northern areas, combined with relative coolness in the north (15-19 degrees), at 21-25 degrees in the eastern mainland and Attica, while the spring cloudiness will be intense in the west and south with the temperature at 28 to 30 and in northern Crete at 33 to 35 degrees Celsius”.
