Who put a PPC column in front of the Parthenon?

--

With all or almost all of the supposed projects of our generation at ground zero, in recent months a public debate has begun about the future of tourism on the island whose hopes are pinned on their completion.

However, are there some simple things that can be done very quickly, require little money and that will greatly improve the image of our tourism product?

Anyone visiting any part of the world as a tourist wants to take souvenir photos. So what is the most photographed part of our island? Undoubtedly the Mylarakis in the hospital and indeed by a large margin.

But what is the image that the visitor faces upon arriving at Mylarakia?

Honestly, who had the bright idea to put a PPC pillar right in front of the island’s most characteristic landmark?

In addition, right next to it there is an anarchic parking lot full of dirt and generally weeds and branches everywhere.

How difficult can it be to move a PPC pillar to the opposite corner so it doesn’t hide the Mylarakis?

How much more spectacular would the Mylarakis be if we made sure they flew with the wind whenever the weather conditions allowed?

Couldn’t we pave the existing dirt parking area with asphalt to make it humane, cut weeds and branches and generally beautify the whole area?
