The Prefectural Committee SYRIZA PS CYCLADES for the visit of Kasselakis to the Cyclades

The President of SYRIZA-PS Stefanos Kasselakis, putting into practice the commitment to
direct communication with every citizen no matter how far away they live,
started his naval tour in the Aegean. We had the pleasure of the previous ones
days to visit some of the islands of our prefecture.

Sudden stop, due to a battle with the wildest element of nature, the sea,
which is very common for the inhabitants of our islands, he did on the island of Kythnos.
Next stop the capital of the South Aegean Region, Syros.
He visited the Chamber of Cyclades and the Mayor of Syros-
Ermoupolis where both of them raised as a top issue the interconnection of

carriers. The issues raised were:
1. The state of the Health structures on our islands and the dramatic understaffing

3. Intra-Cycladic movements, especially in winter.
4. The problem of water scarcity which has appeared and will become more intense
in our islands in the summer season.

The presence of President Stefanos Kasselakis in the Cyclades, who was accompanied
by the honorary leader of GEETHA and Member of State of SYRIZA-PS Evangelos
Apostolaki and the candidate MEP from the South Aegean and
Deputy Coordinator of the Department of Maritime and Island Policy
Katerina Giannaka, gave a clear message of overturning the correlations in a prefecture with
four government MPs who however experience the greatest abandonment
since when.
