Sixteen (16) thefts of motorcycles and mopeds, of which fourteen (14) completed and two (2) attempted, committed during the time period from 02-24 -2024 to 12-03-2024 in Komotini.
Police officers of the Komotini Security Department have filed a case file against six nationals for distinguished cases of theft, while the relevant case file also includes an unknown accomplice of theirs who is being sought.
In particular, as it emerged the perpetrators during the above period of time, acting jointly and with different compositions as the case may be, removed fourteen (14) two-wheeled motorcycles and mopeds from Komotini, while in two cases they attempted to remove two-wheeled motorcycles, without succeeding.
As part of the investigations, twelve of the fourteen removed bikes were found and received by their owners.
THE a case file was submitted to Mr. Rodopi First Instance Prosecutor, while the preliminary investigation was conducted by the Komotini Security Department.
