Meteorologist Giorgos Tsatraphyllias refers to the weather that will prevail during Holy Week and Easter Sunday with his post on Facebook, stressing that weather instability is expected from time to time in certain areas.
As the meteorologist of Alpha and Weather2Go.gr reports, the weather on Easter days will be divided. “Starts with summer and some dust (more on M.Thursday) and ends with spring instability,” he wrote in his post, citing a table with a mini-forecast by day.
Giorgos Tsatrafillias forecast by day:
- Saturday of Lazarus: Clouds and afternoon showers in the highlands of Epirus, Thessaly, Macedonia and Thrace. Northern up to 6 Beaufort in the Aegean. The temperature up to 23 degrees in the mainland, up to 25 in the Dodecanese.
- Palm Sunday: Plenty of sunshine. Northern up to 7 Beaufort in the Aegean. The temperature 28 degrees in the west.
- Holy Monday: Generally clear, some dust in the west. Northern up to 8 Beaufort in the Aegean. The temperature up to 27 degrees
- Big Tuesday: Generally clear with the exception of afternoon showers in the mountains of Thrace and Crete. A little dust in the west. Northern up to 8 Beaufort in the Aegean. The temperature up to 27 degrees

At the same time, Giorgos Tsatrafillias also gives a first assessment and not a forecast for the weather of Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. As he writes: “Cloudy with rain and local showers mainly in the mountains of western and northern Greece. West-northwest winds 6-7 Beaufort and a drop in temperature.”
