The 1st prize in the category: “Draw your Star” at the 4th Primary School of Tripoli

Another award awaits us…

The 1st prize in the category: “Design your Star” in the Creative Competition of the charity organization: “Make-A-Wish” (Make-A-Wish of Greece), belongs to the 4th Primary School of Tripoli.

Another distinction for our school, this time by participating in the Panhellenic Creative Competition of the organization: “Make-A-Wish” (Make-A-Wish of Greece) – Wishing Star 2023-2024, in the category “Design your Star” . The students of the 5th grade: Yannis Palladas, Christos Panopoulos, Panagiota Stavropoulou, Vassilis Sotiropoulos, Theodora Traka, Eleni Triantou and the 6th grade: Evangelia Thanopoulou, Athanasia Kada, Venetta Lakhani, Lefteris Bratsos, Smaragda Drebou, Ioanna Xynou, Ioanna Siakotou, Giorgos Stavropoulos, Dimitris Stavropoulos, Ariadni Frentzou, Argyro Christopoulou, Maria-Nectaria Christopoulou won the 1st Prize nationwide in the competition. Their art teacher, Mr. Vassilis Nastos, supervised and coordinated the whole effort. The success was the result of teamwork and methodical work of the whole team in the context of the competition. It is a competition that promotes volunteerism, teamwork and solidarity.

This year, the “Wishing Star” celebrates its 25th anniversary! So… it differs from other years to remind us how special each person is. It is different and welcoming. It has a different shape and… it hosts the Sun, only together can we move forward and progress, different, but equal under the same sky, in a more inclusive and beautiful world!

What if they are different?

Students from all over Greece were inspired by this anniversary star, a work of the organization, and made their own collective creations, expressing thoughts, feelings and sending messages of love and contribution! They were invited to work collectively, in specific categories, having as a starting point the charity work of the organization, the value of volunteering and giving, the educational program: “Star of Wish”, but also the stories of children who wish.

Thus, taking advantage of the star of “diversity”, our children also shone with their creativity and became the stars of our school.

We thank “Make-A-Wish” (Make-A-Wish Greece) for the opportunity it gave our students, to express themselves creatively and to distinguish themselves. We hope that he will always have strength, to offer happiness and joy to the children who so need the support of all of us!

The awarding of the students will take place at an organization event in Athens, next October.
