16 cases of motorcycle thefts were solved in Komotini

16 thefts of motorcycles and mopeds, of which 14 completed and 2 attempted, committed during the period from February 24 to March 12 in Komotini, were discovered after thorough investigations by the police officers of the Komotini Security Department of the Rodopi Police Department. Police officers of the Komotini Security Department have filed a case file against 6 nationals for distinguished cases of theft, while the relevant case file also includes 1 unknown accomplice who is being sought.

In particular, as it emerged the perpetrators during the above time period, acting jointly and with different compositions as the case may be, removed 14 two-wheeled motorcycles and mopeds from Komotini, while in 2 cases they attempted to remove two-wheeled motorcycles, without succeeding. As part of the investigations, twelve of the fourteen removed bikes were found and received by their owners. The case file that was created was submitted to the District Attorney of Rodopi, while the preliminary investigation was initiated by the Security Department of Komotini.
