“In order to return to Greece there is a condition, that I have left but I didn’t leave” admits Nikos Aliagas.

Nikos Aliagas spoke to the camera of the show “Your Breakfast” and journalist Konstantina Mavrou, on Friday, at OPEN. In the midst of everything, in fact, the well-known presenter referred to the flame of the Olympic Games that started her journey, but also to Greece, which he always carries within himself.

More specifically, Nikos Aliagas characteristically noted that “the ceremony of handing over and receiving the Olympic flame is very moving because this is where the modern Olympic Games began, in the same stadium, with the French Coubertas and the Greek Vikelas. The flame went around Greece in 11 days, it is coming, it will leave again and it will leave by sea from Piraeus on Saturday. It will take 68 days to reach Paris and the games will begin.”

“All these are symbols but it is also very Greek, very soulful. It is a jumble of cultures and I am glad that as a Greek from France, born there but with all my dna here, I can put a small stone in this effort. I am always moved when I return to Greece because it has a light, an energy and so many elements that I carry with me from the first day.”

“I am always moved when peoples come together. This period is very mysterious, very strange in terms of discord, wars nearby and we see that despite this some people are resisting and believe in the message of peace and truce” added Nikos Aliagas in Eleni Tsolaki’s entertainment show on OPEN.

“For me to return to Greece there is a condition. I may have left Greece but I didn’t leave Greece. So I never left Greece but neither did Greece leave me, I carry it like a compass inside me
